PREGNANCY DIARY

March 27, 2005 Baby Diary

Happy Easter Everyone! I took the three hour glucose test on Wednesday. They bruised BOTH of my arms. Oh well, it’s all worth it to know if I have gestational diabetes or not. I’ve been reading up on it, and I guess if I do have it, I will be following the diet because I don’t want FAT babies (just what I need, something else that could increase my chances of having a cesarean). The babies have been kicking up a storm and baby B sometimes looks like it is trying to escape out of my stomach the wrong way. Baby A is harder to feel moving, It worries me a little bit, just because it is harder to feel and I don’t want anything to happen to either of my babies. The nose thing is getting a little better (if only I could sleep on my back!). We have begun moving furniture. Goku (snake) has settled into his new spot and has even ventured out of his box to check it out (well, really to get some water). The fish are almost in their new spot. The tank has been emptied, cleaned, and moved into its new location. As I write, Aaron is beginning the process of pumping the water back into the fish tank. Then he will plant the live plants and put the fish back in. After that task is complete we can FINALLY begin moving the rest of the furniture, which should all be relatively easy. We would like to have the furniture moved before next weekend, because my in-laws are coming in and we’d like to have places for them to sit and stuff. I think this can be accomplished if we move a little bit each day. The baby “room” will be pretty empty after the furniture is moved. We ordered the cribs, babys dream infinity collection in amber. You can check it out on their website at http://www.babysdream.com/catalog/infinity_col.htm. Well, we go to the doctors tomorrow to check the heartbeats and get the results of my test. Keep your fingers crossed!
